The Omegalite, the printed alumni communication for the Purdue chapter, has been named the 2021 the Alumni Chapter Newsletter of the Year by the national fraternity it was announced on June 10.
It marked the 11th time in the last 19 years that the Omegalite was so honored, including the last two years in a row.
The Fall 2020/Spring 2021 edition featured quoted seven chapter alumni who are on the front lines of the Covid-19 fight. Two of them were physicians, two nurses, two were involved in pharmaceutical research and one was an emergency room scribe and pre-med student.
