Dad’s Day 2022 has been set for Sept. 24 alongside the 7 p.m., Florida Atlantic at Purdue football game in Ross-Ade Stadium.
It’s unusual that Dads Day is held on homecoming weekend, but with our Oct. 29 Centennial celebration that will bring 100s of alumni to campus, the chapter selected Sept. 24. In the past, the chapter has held the annual David Feltner 72-Hour Memorial Bike-a-Thon on homecoming week. The 72-hour bike-a-thon will be held building up to the Oct. 29 chapter’s Centennial this year. However, the chapter will host a 24-hour bike-a-thon to raise money for the Ability Experience alongside Dads Day, too.
Dads should watch for details this fall.
Historian Jake Shepherd will be coordinating Dads Day. He can be reached at: 913/514-0333, shephe40@purdue.edu

The Protect Purdue Plan did not allow us to hold Dad’s Day in 2020 or 2021.
>> Here is information about the 2019 Dad’s Day for your reference:
Dads Day 2019 was held on Saturday, Nov. 2 as the Purdue football team beat Nebraska, 31-27. Dad’s Day 2020 has not yet been scheduled. This page will be updated sometime in Fall 2020 with information about that event.
INFORMATION FROM DAD’S DAY 2019:
Pi Kappa Phi Fathers,
Dad’s Day is held each fall and will be held on Nov. 2, 2019, in conjunction with the Nebraska at Purdue football game. Food will be provided at a time to be determined (once gametime is set).
Typical events include a father-son tailgate at the house prior to a home Purdue football game, a BBQ, the game itself, house tours, and an informal poker/cigar night to conclude Saturday. The on-campus Purdue Union Club Hotel is closed for renovations in the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020, but the Hilton Garden Inn, 356 E. State St., WL (765/743-2100) as well as the Hampton Inn, 160 Tapawingo Dr., WL, (765/269-8000) are the closest to the chapter house.
The fall event is dedicated to dads only and is informal in nature.
