Several dozen potential new members attended Sunday’s (Aug. 28) recruitment event at Pi Kappa Phi opening the second week of such.
On Sunday, the potential new members gathered informally with brothers learning about each other. Sunday’s event came on the heels of last Thursday’s Ability Experience whereby visitors learned about the chapter’s philanthropic efforts serving people with disabilities alongside The Ability Experience.
As of Sunday night, 17 men have accepted the challenge to join the chapter this fall. Another six have bids, but have not yet decided. There’s still time to be considered, but time in running short of the fall semester.
Pi Kappa Phi is seeking men who are compelled by our three priorities – academic achievement, being a leader and serving others. Commitment to those three principles have made the chapter the most recognized fraternity at Purdue for more than a decade.
There are two remaining recruitment events scheduled for this semester – Tuesday (Aug. 30), basketball at the Recreational Sports Center and Wednesday (Aug. 31) back at the chapter house for Room Talks II. Both events are scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.
