Pi Kappa Phi sent more than 30 members to assist the Arc of Tippecanoe with its annual Halloween costume/dance party in Lafayette on Oct. 25.
More than 30 clients of the local agency that assists children and adults with disabilities participated in the annual affair full of fun, laughter and hours of dancing over a two-hour period.
This is the sixth time in the last eight years that Pi Kappa Phi joined forces with the Arc of Tippecanoe for the Halloween party.
Fraternity members plan to work the Arc again in the spring for a “Second Chance Prom,” with assistance from Purdue Best Buddies. At this event, adults with disabilities have a chance to go to a prom with host chapter members and students from Best Buddies.
