Seventeen associate members were added to the chapter this spring during the rush period.
They come from six states and seven different schools at Purdue. Engineering and management tie for the most frequent major, followed by exploratory studies, science, health sciences and technology.
Not surprisingly, Indiana is the native state for the largest number of new members following closely by Illinois. Interestingly, Pennsylvania is next on the list with one guy coming from Colorado, Kentucky, Michigan and Missouri.

The 20 associate members join the 22 who were recruited last fall and initiated this spring.
The fall class was overwhelmingly from Indiana, followed by Illinois and Ohio. There were one guy from Virginia, New Hampshire and Texas.
Six of the group major in engineering, followed by four each in science and management. Health sciences was the fourth largest school of choice followed by technology and liberal arts.

In all, Indiana was the where most of the 2020-21 new members live, followed by Illinois. And of the 42 new members this academic year, they hail from 11 states.
