Nearly 250 prospective new members turned out at Meet the Greeks Pi Kappa Phi booth and/or attended the first fall recruitment event at the chapter house on Sunday.
Sunday kicked off the start of the fall recruitment process for 40 fraternities at Purdue. Pi Kappa Phi, 330 N. Grant St., will run events through Aug. 27. Next up is Room Talks whereby prospective members will learn about various aspects of the chapter from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday followed by outdoor basketball on Tuesday.
Pi Kappa Phi seeks men who achieve in, or are seeking to excel in, academics, leadership and service. The chapter is the most decorated Purdue fraternity in the last two decades having been named the best organization 10 of the last 16 years.
