Pi Kappa Phi received recognition for accomplishments during 2023 in a ceremony on campus on March 19.
The chapter received the RB Stewart Award as the top fraternity at Purdue last calendar year. Pi Kappa Phi was one of five finalists from among 42 fraternities on campus.
It was the 11th time in the last 16 years that Pi Kappa Phi has been so recognized.
Andrew Eichmeier was named the Interfraternity Council’s Brother of the Year. He was the chapter president in 2022 and served in various IFC roles including chief justice for judicial hearings.
It was the second consecutive time a chapter member received the honor.
“This year’s recipient has served as an example for younger members in showing the great opportunities the fraternity provides for its members,” the presenter of the award said before Eichmeier’s name was read.
Grant Gottlieb was one of three finalists for the Brother of the Year award, too.
