On March 28, Pi Kappa Phi members volunteered in a local park alongside clients of Life Has No Boundaries, a non-profit assisting adults with disabilities.
The chapter sends representatives each week throughout the academic year to various activities both at their home base in a West Lafayette church and into the community for outings such as the one on March 28. This time, associate members joined brothers in assisting those with special needs.
“It is important to integrate new members before they become brothers for larger events such as Arctoberfest and the Second Chance Prom,” chapter Ability Experience chairman Joe Barbara said. “I think it’s also important to show them how important philanthropy is to us as fraternity members.”
