Now more than 24 hours into its 72-hour bike-a-thon, alumni have started to filter in and watch as chapter members ride one of three stationary bikes at the Purdue belltower during the 12th Annual David Feltner Memorial Bike-a-Thon.
Kurt Takara (Omega 1154) and James Briggs (Omega 1213) visited our table and donated to the chapter’s efforts to assist people with disabilities. Briggs even rode one of the bikes, much to the delight of the undergraduate members there at the time.
The bike-a-thon will run through 4 p.m. Saturday at the belltower at the center of campus and then move for its last 2 hours inside the Purdue Memorial Union’s north ballroom where the chapter will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Alumni who have not yet registered for the banquet can do so on Saturday at the door. Cost is $100 for the 4 p.m. reception and the 6:30 p.m. banquet at the Purdue Memorial Union’s north and south ballrooms. Dress is casual for the banquet.
In the meantime, however, you can assist the chapter’s efforts to raise money and awareness of people with disabilities by contributing to the link below:

or by donation via Venmo @PurduePiKapps.
The chapter members and the local agencies that benefit from the chapter members volunteering and fund-raising thank you!
