A total of $8,183 has been raised two-thirds of the way into the 14th Annual David Feltner 72-Hour Bike-a-Thon being held near the Purdue belltower.
As of 11 a.m. Friday, which is 48 hours into the fund-raising event, the remnants of what was Hurricane Helene have started to hit the Purdue campus. Light rain has started and heavy winds are expected early afternoon into the evening.
Nonetheless, the ride will continue unless conditions worsen. Then the ride will be suspended until the severe weather has passed.
We will continue to take donations from the Ability Experience web portal, through Zelle and Venmo and cash at the site.
You can support the cause by donating online at:

The bike-a-thon will finish at 10 a.m., Saturday at the belltower, two hours prior to the noon Purdue vs. Nebraska football game.
