Pi Kappa Phi is proud to announce its Fall 2024 new member class that includes 38 men.
The newest members come from 11 different states with the plurality from Indiana (19). A total of 7 come from Illinois, 3 from Virginia and 2 each from Colorado and California. There are 6 other states represented by 1 each from Ohio, New Jersey, Texas, Missouri and Wisconsin.
A total of 13 are majoring in engineering, 10 in business, 5 in science, 4 in exploratory studies and 3 from health and human services. Other majors include pre-pharmacy and technology.
The group is highly academically oriented with 16 in the Top 10 of their high school classes with 3 being valedictorians or salutatorians. The group includes leaders as well as 13 of them were sports team captains in high school.
All but one of the 39 new members are freshman. They were selected from nearly 500 men who went through the chapter during the fall new member recruitment process.
Pi Kappa Phi focuses on three areas during the recruiting process – academics, leadership and service.
