Eight hours into the 11th Annual David Feltner Memorial Bike-a-Thon, the chapter has already hit the $1,000 mark in fund-raising.
The 72-hour bike-a-thon is held in memory of Feltner, a chapter member who was committed to The Ability Experience while a student. Feltner died in 2011 from a rare form of soft-tissue cancer.
About 25 riders and another 20 table volunteers have participated thus far. The ride, which started at 5 p.m. Wednesday will conclude at 5 p.m. Saturday, shortly after the noon Minnesota at Purdue homecoming football game.
You can donate to the cause at:

or by stopping by the belltower in the central part of the Purdue campus with cash or your smart phone. Phones can scan our QR code at the table to make a Venmo contribution, too.
Be sure to watch us from the cycling site on Facebook Live form 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Friday as well as at the end, 4:45 to 5 p.m., Saturday.
