On Wednesday, Aug. 21, the chapter had another in a series of new member recruitment functions. At this event, prospective members learned about various aspects of being a Pi Kappa Phi member.
Topics included: Academics, athletics, outreach to people with disabilities, social and brotherhood. Nearly 50 guys interested in fraternity recruitment attended.
The next event is from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 24 at the T-Rec for 7 on 7 football. You needn’t be a football player to attend, either.
Then next week, it’s back to the chapter house, 330 N. Grant St., for Steaks ‘n Stogies on Tuesday and the Ability Experience on Thursday. All events are from 5 to 7 p.m. Newcomers are encouraged to get started in the recruiting process ASAP as the chapter has already started giving out bids to join the membership.
