Pi Kappa Phi added 23 graduates to Purdue University over seven commencement ceremonies on the West Lafayette campus from May 10 to 12, 2024.
Nearly two-thirds of the graduates – 15 of them –have earned academic honors. One-third of them graduated in business and one-quarter from engineering. There were three graduates from science and two each in liberal arts and health sciences. The other graduates came one each from technology as well as hospitality & tourism management.
Graduates include:
- Samuel Bernicke, chemical engineering, from Cincinnati, Ohio. He will be a brand manager for Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati.
- Sam Bogner, mathematics, from Schaumburg, Illinois. He will be a math teacher at Schaumburg High School.
- Ted Brandon, finance, from Angola, Indiana. He will be working for Florida Financial Advisor in Miami.
- Josh Ciesar, chemical engineering, from Fairfax, Virginia. He will be a process engineer for BP in Whiting, Indiana.
- Nick Connors, industrial management in supply chain management and marketing, from West Lafayette, Indiana.
- Andrew Davis, computer science, from Indianapolis, Indiana. He will be a technology consultant for Edgile in Chicago.
- Akash Devamadhavan, finance from Denver, Colorado. He will be an investment banking analyst for Baird in Chicago.
- Andrew Eichmeier, political science, from Valparaiso, Indiana. He will be a system specialist with RDC-Orr Fellowship in Indianapolis.
- Brendan Egan, computer engineering, from Westmont, Illinois. He will be an embedded software engineer at Textron Systems in Cockeysville, Maryland.
- Ben Fern, professional flight and aviation management from Austin, Texas. He will be moving back to Austin to be a pilot for American Airlines.
- Michael “Sonny” Ferrantella, kinesiology, Michigan City, Indiana. Graduate school in Indianapolis.
- Jacob Halfhill, finance, from Wexford, Pennsylvania
- Kyle Leach, mechanical engineering, from Carmel, Indiana. He will be an engineer for Navistar in Chicago.
- Samuel Maldia, supply chain analytics and information from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Michael McCollum, finance and accounting, from Carmel, Indiana. He will be a global corporate investment banking analyst for Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Samuel Phillips, MS in finance, from Dayton, Ohio. He will be a finance manager for Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati.
- Jack Ryan, mechanical engineering, from Elmhurst, Illinois. He will be instrumentation & controls engineer for Sargent & Lundy in Chicago.
- Zach Schute, mechanical engineering, from Brownsburg, Indiana, He will be a customer integration engineer for Allison Transmission in Indianapolis.
- Justin Segrest, kinesiology, from North Wales, Pennsylvania. He will be doing a sports science internship at Marian University in Indianapolis.
- Carson Shireman, hospitality and tourism management, from Monticello, Indiana. He will be a catering manager, for ELIK Hospitality Group in Chicago.
- Adam Spensley, political science, from Carmel, Indiana. He will be attending the Law School at Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
- Will Vanderwarker, planetary science, from Evanston, Illinois. He will be an environmental scientist for WSP in Madison, Wisconsin.
- Sumner Wolff, finance, from Indianapolis, Indiana. He will be a digital securities consultant for Crowe LLP in Indianapolis.
