Thanks to the 300-some riders and table volunteers and all our donors, the chapter has been able to raise $8,750 thus far for people with disabilities for 72 hours starting Wednesday and ending on Saturday.
The event was the 11th Annual David Feltner Memorial Bike-a-Thon that honors Feltner who died of cancer in 2011 while an undergraduate student at Purdue. He was heavily involved in Ability Experience programming and was in the first group of chapter members who volunteered at special needs classes at a local high school.
