The third of four major events in this year’s War of Roses saw Alpha Xi Delta come out on top of the trivia competition on Wednesday night.
The 15 competing teams played against each other answering questions about Purdue history, sports accomplishments as well as producing the best drawings various characters. Phi Sigma Rho and Phi Mu finished second and third respectively.
Wednesday also marked the day when the organizations put out sheet signs promoting Friday’s talent show to be held in Loeb Playhouse on the Purdue campus.
Slightly past the half way point in the two-week competition, nearly $6,000 has been raised in donations, which count as points for the contestants, for people with disabilities. The Ability Experience, the Pi Kappa Phi national outreach program for people with disabilities locally and nationally, is the benefactor of the fund-raiser.
