Day 3 of the Pi Kappa Phi recruitment process featured 3 on 3 hoops at the fraternity house on Tuesday night.
Now, more than 400 prospective new members have visited with chapter members.
Pi Kappa Phi is looking for men who emulate three things – academics, leadership and service.
- With academics, we are looking for National Merit finalists and semifinalists, valedictorians and salutatorians as well as other types of scholars.
- With leadership, we seek men who have been team captains, class officers and clubs while in high school.
- With service, we seek people who do things outside themselves and serve others.
If you do not fit one of those primary categories that does not mean we do not want you. We also seek men who wish to join our organization and learn to be scholars, leaders and be in service to others.
Pi Kappa Phi has three more events this week and that will end the fall recruitment period.
On Wednesday, we will host room talks where potential new members can learn more about our day-to-day operations and how a new member fits in. On Thursday, you can learn about our commitment to people with disabilities with The Ability Experience. And on Friday, we will be hosting a cookout at the house.
